A short coastal chapter
Tullaghan gives Leitrim its place in this Atlantic journey. The coast here is a short section between the larger Donegal and Sligo chapters. It is worth recognising in its own right, without turning a brief geographical connection into a full day of invented attractions. Look at the map and make a stop only where access and parking allow.
An inland alternative
If Leitrim interests you beyond the shoreline, set aside time to go inland. Manorhamilton, Dromahair and Glencar belong to a wider county visit, with their own routes and practical arrangements. The county guide is a better starting point for that choice than trying to fit an inland excursion between two coastal appointments.
On towards Sligo
This chapter can be a pause in a longer day rather than an overnight destination. Check the route from your Donegal base towards North Sligo and decide where you actually want to spend the afternoon. A shorter driving day may leave time for a harbour or a walk once you reach the next stretch.

Before you go
Check local coastal access, weather and permitted parking. Inland Leitrim visits need a separate route and time allowance.
